Litchfield Hills Bible Church

What We Believe

The Bible is God’s word to man, hence it is inerrant. (Jn 1:1-2; Heb 1:1-3; Acts 1:16; Acts 3:21)

God is One, but exists in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.(2 Cor 13:14; Acts 5:3-4,30)

Jesus is the Christ, the Lord, both fully God and fully Man (Phil 2:5-11)

Salvation is received by accepting the finished work of Christ on the cross for our sins. (Rom 3:21-24)

There is a resurrection of the body for all, believer and unbeliever. But, the believer will take his resurrection body to Heaven at the Rapture. (Jn 5:29; 1 Thes 4:13-17)

To be absent from the body (physical death) is to be immediately present with the Lord, awaiting our resurrection body. (2 Cor 5:8)

We partake of the Lord’s Supper on a regular basis. (1 Cor 11:23-26)

The Church began at Pentecost and will be completed with the Rapture. (Acts 11:15)

We are neither Pentecostal nor Charismatic in our beliefs and practice.
