NOTE: DO NOT FOLLOW THE MAP DIRECTIONS WHEN COMING FROM TORRINGTON; CHAPEL ROAD IS NOT ACCESSIBLE FROM NEWFIELD RD, DESPITE WHAT MAPQUEST SHOWS.!!!! (Chapel Rd is open at either end, BUT NOT IN THE CENTER PART OF THE ROAD.)
FROM ROUTE 8 NORTH (OF TORRINGTON, CT
Exit 45 (KENNEDY DRIVE), turn left to Rte 800 (Old Rte.8)
Right on Rte 800; go to blinking traffic light
Left at blinking light (This is Burr Mtn. Rd).
Continue to stop sign (prox. 2 miles)
Right at stop sign (This is Platt Hill Rd)
1st left (Chapel Rd; this is just below the large communications tower to your left)
We are the second building on the right (500 feet)
FROM EXIT 46 (WINSTED EXIT)
Upon exiting, turn right on Main St.(Route 44 West); continue to 4th stoplight
Turn left on Route 263 (Boyd St.) [just past Winsted Area ChildCare Center on left]
Follow Route 263 (it bears right after 100 feet); go prox. 1.3 miles.
At the Y, take the left (straight) fork (Platt Hill Rd) [Route 263 continues right]
Turn right on the second road (Chapel Rd.; prox 1.5 miles)
We are the second building on the right (500 feet)
